It may be cold and wintry today but before you know it the daffodils will be popping out and summer will be here. What are your plans for the kids this summer? Lutheridge+Lutherock Summer Camp is gearing up for another busy season. We have been working hard on all of our activity schedules for our 2009 Summer Camp season.
We are proud to announce one of our newest "camp" progams.
M.A.D. Camp - Music and Drama Camp. Enjoy music, drama, and a whole new cast of friends. Campers will perform the musical "AMERICAN IDEAL" on Friday afternoon. Families are invited to attend. Mornings will be spent in rehearsals and afternoons and evenings in regular camp activities such as swimming, crafts, games, hikes, campfires, and more. If you've ever wanted to be in the show, this is the camp for you!
"The AMERICAN IDEAL" shines the spotlight on four contestant who are competing to be the next "American Ideal". Tonight's theme is "Gospel Music Night". During the production of this live TV show, contestants Willa Wynn, Anita Ward, and Neil Downe discover, with the help for fellow contestant Emma Tate, the truth about themselves as "Reality TV" takes on a whole new meaning. This humorous, tongue-in-cheek look at fame, fortune and flim-flam turns popular culture on its head and shines the spotlight of God's truth about humility on the hearts of contestants and audience alike.
M.A.D. Camp is for Campers that will have completed grades 4-6 for summer 2009.
